The story of Savara

One day, I was rocking my inconsolable baby to sleep, trying every method that usually soothes him, yet nothing worked. Then, I began to hum. Within seconds, he softened. Within minutes, he was in his cot, fast asleep.
Sound has always been part of how I create calm in my own life. I've long been drawn to the quality and intentionality of it. I use it myself to regulate and focus. But somehow, I hadn’t applied that thinking to my kids.

That’s when the penny dropped. I started paying closer attention to the kind of sound that actually felt calming, not busy, or random, but steady and connected.

I couldn’t quite find that in existing sound machines, and I didn’t want to leave a phone in the kids’ bedroom with music playing.

So I started exploring how to create it.
Savara's sounds are intentionally designed, built around steady tones, gentle layering, and very subtle movement, so they feel consistent and grounding rather than stimulating.
When I worked with the musicians, the guidance was clear: this wasn’t about making music in the traditional sense. The sound needed to feel steady, without anything abrupt or distracting.
Just sound that helps create a calm, steady environment for rest.
